गाजीपुर : गाजीपुर जिले की राजनीति में कई नाम आए और गए, लेकिन कुछ नेता अपनी अमिट छाप छोड़ जाते हैं। ऐसे ही एक कद्दावर नेता थे स्वर्गीय कैलाश यादव, जो समाजवादी विचारधारा के मजबूत स्तंभ थे। उन्होंने न केवल आम जनता के बीच बल्कि अपने विरोधियों के दिलों में भी सम्मान की जगह बनाई। उनके संघर्ष, विचारधारा और विकास कार्यों के कारण वे आज भी याद किए जाते हैं।
राजनीतिक सफर की शुरुआत
कैलाश यादव का जन्म 10 जुलाई 1951 को गाजीपुर जिले के जैतपुरा सकरा गांव में हुआ था। वे प्रारंभ से ही जनसेवा की भावना से प्रेरित थे। उनकी राजनीति में रुचि ने उन्हें कोऑपरेटिव चुनाव में भाग लेने के लिए प्रेरित किया, जहाँ वे अध्यक्ष चुने गए। इसके बाद 1988 में वे ग्राम प्रधान बने, जिससे उनकी लोकप्रियता बढ़ती चली गई।
उनका जमीनी स्तर पर काम करने का तरीका और लोगों से गहरा जुड़ाव उनकी ताकत बनी। उन्होंने कभी पीछे मुड़कर नहीं देखा और अपनी मेहनत व ईमानदारी के बल पर लगातार राजनीति में आगे बढ़ते रहे।
जिला पंचायत से लेकर विधायक तक का सफर
कैलाश यादव की राजनीतिक सफलता का पहला बड़ा पड़ाव 1995-96 में जिला पंचायत सदस्य चुना जाना था। यह उनकी बढ़ती राजनीतिक शक्ति का प्रमाण था।
लेकिन उनकी असली पहचान तब बनी जब 1996 में उन्होंने जमानियां विधानसभा सीट से समाजवादी पार्टी के टिकट पर चुनाव लड़ा और जीत हासिल की। इस जीत के बाद वे समाजवादी पार्टी के एक महत्वपूर्ण नेता के रूप में उभरे और पूर्वांचल की राजनीति में उनका दबदबा बढ़ता गया।
पंचायती राज मंत्री के रूप में योगदान
स्व. कैलाश यादव की राजनीतिक यात्रा में एक और बड़ा मुकाम तब आया जब अखिलेश यादव सरकार में उन्हें पंचायती राज मंत्री बनाया गया। इस पद पर रहते हुए उन्होंने ग्रामीण विकास और पंचायतों को सशक्त बनाने के लिए कई महत्वपूर्ण योजनाएं लागू कीं।
उनकी नीतियों और दूरदर्शिता के कारण वे समाजवादी पार्टी के पूर्वांचल में बड़े चेहरे बन गए। उन्होंने हमेशा गरीबों, किसानों और पिछड़े वर्गों के उत्थान के लिए कार्य किया। उनके कार्यों से हजारों गांवों को विकास की नई दिशा मिली।
अचानक निधन और पूर्वांचल की राजनीतिक क्षति
2016 में हार्ट अटैक के कारण कैलाश यादव का आकस्मिक निधन हो गया। उनके जाने से न केवल समाजवादी पार्टी को बल्कि पूरे पूर्वांचल की राजनीति को गहरा झटका लगा।
उनकी स्मृति को जीवंत रखने के लिए हर वर्ष उनकी पुण्यतिथि पर सकरा स्थित लुटावन महाविद्यालय में एक भव्य आयोजन किया जाता है, जहां विभिन्न राजनीतिक दलों के नेता और समर्थक उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करने आते हैं। यह आयोजन इस बात का प्रमाण है कि जनता के दिलों में उनकी जगह हमेशा बनी रहेगी।
उनकी विरासत को आगे बढ़ा रहे हैं वीरेंद्र यादव
स्व. कैलाश यादव के पुत्र वीरेंद्र यादव वर्तमान में जंगीपुर विधानसभा सीट से विधायक हैं। वे अपने पिता की विरासत को आगे बढ़ाते हुए समाजवादी विचारधारा के प्रति समर्पित हैं और जनसेवा में सक्रिय भूमिका निभा रहे हैं। उनका लक्ष्य अपने पिता की तरह जनता की सेवा करना और उनके अधूरे कार्यों को पूरा करना है।
स्व. कैलाश यादव का जीवन संघर्ष और सफलता की मिसाल है। उन्होंने पंचायत स्तर से लेकर मंत्री पद तक का सफर तय किया और हमेशा जनता के हित में कार्य किया। उनकी समाजवादी सोच, नीतियां और समर्पण आज भी कई युवा नेताओं के लिए प्रेरणा स्रोत हैं।
